Removal of Gallbladder with Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy !!!

“Laparoscopic cholecystectomy” is a surgical procedure and means “gallbladder removal”. This surgery is performed through a small incision in the abdomen with an instrument called a laparoscope. The laparoscope is a tube with a camera and light source inside. By entering through this tube, the intra-abdominal organs are displayed and the gallbladder is removed using special surgical instruments. The gallbladder can cause the formation of small stones, sometimes called gallstones. After the gallbladder removal, gallstone formation disappears.

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is a less invasive procedure than open surgery and provides a faster recovery time. Postoperative hospital stay is shorter and scars are smaller.

Less invasive and therefore, less pain and discomfort / shorter hospital stay / faster recovery process / Smaller scars ( creates less aesthetic problem)
